Joseph Quere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Reynaert in the 12th minute of the match. Michael Duville might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Hochet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barby's Robert Hochet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseph Quere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Reynaert in the 77th minute of play. Martial Cezard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Quere having to interfere. Barby's Robert Hochet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Piel in the 85th minute of play. Miquelle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Marin Reynaert scored to the left of an out of position Joseph Quere, making the score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Barby's Emeric Moro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Barby defense, Boris Piel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Hochet. The Barby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Hochet should have stopped the shot. Barby played a much better game than Miquelle and deserved their victory. The Miquelle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
