Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raoul Pernet got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Germain Ferrere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaillarde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velaux the free kick. Germain Ferrere hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jean-Philippe Gagnon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Poilane in the 6th minute of the match. Jean-Philippe Gagnon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romuald Geslot in the 8th minute of play. Fabian Mayeuxs short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Blaise Delaigue to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Blaise Delaigue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Pernet, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Germain Ferrere got his second yellow card in the match during the 12th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 13th minute, Germain Ferrere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 17 in the game by Fabian Mayeux from a close distance when the talented Blaise Delaigue managed to make a qualified save. Velaux's players were relieved. The supporters of Velaux booed when Gaillarde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Reboux didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Gaillarde's goal looked a bit too open when William Poilane came free, but Jean-Philippe Gagnon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Philippe Gagnon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Poilane, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Velaux getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jason Anfray hit a great ball. Laurent Bonvallet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blaise Delaigue. Velaux's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabian Mayeux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Blaise Delaigue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Mayeux came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gaillarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Mayeux couldn't finish the play. Jean-Philippe Gagnon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Poilane in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Poilane was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Mayeux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jason Anfray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velaux's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Anfray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Philippe Gagnon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Poilane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Fabian Mayeux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Choplin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If William Poilane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Lacrouts hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Fabian Mayeux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Delaigue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gaillarde's Fabian Mayeux in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velaux's goalie prevented a goal. Gaillarde's Raoul Pernet got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Mayeux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Delaigue having to interfere. Raoul Pernet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Poilane came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean-Philippe Gagnon could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute, Velaux's William Poilane ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Philippe Gagnon. Jean-Philippe Gagnon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Velaux's William Poilane got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Poilane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jean-Philippe Gagnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
