Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timothe Bouteloup got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Raoul Pernet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djibril Maisonneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Timothe Bouteloup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raoul Pernet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gaillarde's Jean-Philippe Gagnon got control of the ball when Raymond Lecanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Gaillarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Lourme to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Hugo Moritz in the 26th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jean-Philippe Gagnon's left hand side. Placier's Djibril Maisonneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raoul Pernet in the 29th minute of play. Raymond Lecanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jean-Philippe Gagnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Philippe Gagnon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothe Bouteloup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Lecanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Gagnon having to interfere. Djibril Maisonneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Pernet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raoul Pernet made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Laurent Bonvallet fired a really elegant long shot, but Djibril Maisonneuve threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 56th play minute Fabian Mayeux came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Djibril Maisonneuve. 0-1. Djibril Maisonneuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Pernet, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Placier's goal looked a bit too open when Raoul Pernet came free, but Djibril Maisonneuve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Fabian Mayeux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaillarde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Mayeux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Raoul Pernet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Lecanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jean-Philippe Gagnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Philippe Gagnon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothe Bouteloup, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Raoul Pernet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Neveux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Gagnon having to interfere. Fabian Mayeux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raoul Pernet in the 94th minute of play forced Placier's goalkeeper Djibril Maisonneuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rene Neveux fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Placier's protests and gave Rene Neveux a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Neveux hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Gaillarde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gaillarde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
