Gauthier Bogaert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Chesnay's Jonathan Betton got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thairy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romaric Duvivier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Jolan Pincon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chesnay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Antoine Ollivier hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Yvan Amadieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Betton in the 68th minute of the match.
