Roques's Lionel Frisch got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Vernouillet's Prosper Vitse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Selosse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lionel Frisch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Judith having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Fernandez in the 25th minute of play forced Vernouillet's goalkeeper Axel Judith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vernouillet getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Timothe Weill hit a great ball. Lorenzo Selosse came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnold Dilly slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Fernandez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Roques's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 56 minutes into the game, Gaston Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Axel Judith. Gaston Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Roques's Lorenzo Selosse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vitse in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Tim Bougon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Judith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axel Judith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Judith made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lionel Frisch sent off a good shot on target. Lionel Frisch struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Axel Judith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roques. Arnold Dilly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lorenzo Selosse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Roques's Lionel Frisch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Judith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lionel Frisch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Judith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to Vernouillet getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Djimmy Remaud hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Roques players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vernouillet.
