Dan Pouillard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Dupre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Allan Dupre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Pouillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gabriel Lechartier struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Karl Nay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalou. 15 minutes into the game, Carlos Jacquemet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lalande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chalou the free kick. Carlos Jacquemet kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Dan Pouillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Lechartier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Nay having to interfere. Allan Dupre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernand Bellet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Lechartier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Karl Nay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Ramel's late challenge caught a Lalande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Ramel helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Lechartier struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Karl Nay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalou. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Lalande:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chalou:s goal. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Chalou's Walter Desveaux got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karl Nay. Carlos Jacquemet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Allan Dupre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Lechartier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Fernand Bellet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Pouillard in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Dupre saved Chalou from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Moise Ramel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chalou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 69 minutes of play Lalande's Carlos Jacquemet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Lechartier in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Nay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lalande's zone, Martin Riff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Nay came out of the goal and Martin Riff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Lalande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Mermet to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, Chalou's Walter Desveaux shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl Nay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chalou reached it. Martin Riff might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Nay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Riff ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gabriel Lechartier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Martin Riff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Riff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
