Antony Malecots short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Andre Santoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Franck Moutard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustave Gazeau took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilan Dornier. Dilan Dornier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roger Saint hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustave Gazeau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moruel's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustave Gazeau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dilan Dornier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franck Moutard in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dilan Dornier saved Etavaux from getting behind. Albert Bonvarlet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Etavaux's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Franck Moutard struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dilan Dornier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moruel. In the 33rd minute, Gustave Gazeau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moruel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Moruel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Echard to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moruel's goalkeeper Andre Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Jason Ponsard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Bonvarlet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andre Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Moruel getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eloi Houeix hit a great ball. Andre Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Malecot in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Etavaux got a freekick which was hit by Yves Brunon. Dilan Dornier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tommy Echard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Bonvarlet in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Santoro saved Moruel from getting behind. The Etavaux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 74 played minutes Moruel got a freekick which was hit by Anatole Zaidi. After 77 minutes Moruel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jason Ponsard who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloi Houeix during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloi Houeix hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dilan Dornier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustave Gazeau in the 96th minute. The Moruel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
