The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrien Martiny was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Verson's Malik Goujon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Claude Jonard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Garrido having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adrien Martiny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matheo Lignon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Napollon's Louis Tabary sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheo Lignon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Napollon booed when Verson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Venet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheo Lignon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Tabary in the 75th minute of the match. Adrien Martiny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Matheo Lignon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Venet hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Romeo Meurisse heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 90th minute, Adrien Martiny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Napollon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Verson's performance. The match ended with a win for Verson.
