Kevin Guichet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Brandon Rayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Rayer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ghislain Charre having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Ruelisheim's Maxence Labonne got a free kick in the 37th minute. Brandon Rayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Flament to strike the kick off in the second half. When Frederic Baumard came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ruelisheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Baumard couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, Ruelisheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxence Labonne to maneuver through the defense. Yves Fontan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Guichet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Frederic Baumard struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kevin Guichet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruelisheim. Yves Fontan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghislain Charre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Flament, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Mario Flament recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remi Lorho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Brandon Rayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruelisheim's Ghislain Charre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Rayer in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Yves Fontan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruelisheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Fontan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
