Matheo Lignon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Flament's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Octave Ferlay came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Verson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octave Ferlay couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Flament stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucien Chaillet charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucien Chaillet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Verson getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lucien Chaillet hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Mario Flament took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Matheo Lignon to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th match minute, Verson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Coulange to maneuver through the defense. Brandon Rayer might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matheo Lignon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandon Rayer ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Flament sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brandon Rayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Matheo Lignon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Verson's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mario Flament fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kevin Guichet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Bezin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Montesson's Brandon Rayer got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Montesson booed when Verson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Venet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
