Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frederic Baumard got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Tabary in the 4th minute of play forced Ruelisheim's goalkeeper Ghislain Charre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes, Leo Mathelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napollon and the Ruelisheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ruelisheim booed when Napollon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Mathelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adrien Martiny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Frederic Baumard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frederic Baumard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrien Martiny to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Maxence Labonne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Adrien Martiny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruelisheim's Ghislain Charre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ghislain Charre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Martiny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ghislain Charre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrien Martiny in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ruelisheim's Yves Fontan got a free kick in the 66th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Tabary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96thth minute of the game Frederic Baumard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Napollon's Bertrand Garrido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
