Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Omer Courbet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Denain booed when Wavrin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joffrey Diez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes, Bruce Bizot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wavrin and the Denain players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wavrin! Joffrey Diez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Wavrin's Geoffroy Leriche got control of the ball when Valerien Bizot tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Wavrin getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tanguy Emonet hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Wavrin's goal looked a bit too open when Aime Mougin came free, but Geoffroy Leriche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valerien Bizot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aime Mougin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geoffroy Leriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Wavrin's goal looked a bit too open when Aime Mougin came free, but Geoffroy Leriche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tanguy Emonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wavrin's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanguy Emonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Racaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geoffroy Leriche was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Jarod Bourrier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarod Bourrier really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aime Mougin made the kick off in the second half. Djimmy Jupin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Wavrin got a freekick which was hit by Tanguy Emonet. If Valerien Bizot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Jarod Bourrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Racaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omer Courbet in the 70th minute of play. Valerien Bizot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aime Mougin in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geoffroy Leriche saved Wavrin from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tanguy Emonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wavrin's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanguy Emonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Racaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Wavrin's Omer Courbet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Racaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohamed Racaud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanguy Emonet in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valerien Bizot in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geoffroy Leriche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geoffroy Leriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aime Mougin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Denain's Aime Mougin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geoffroy Leriche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denain were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wavrin for a fine match.
