Jouars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maulde the free kick. A collision led to Jouars getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gildas Marlot hit a great ball. Leopold Segui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Lamoureux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Raphael Rousselot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopold Segui. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Jouars booed when Maulde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Gindre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salomon Hervieu to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Raphael Rousselot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maulde's Leopold Segui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lorenzo Lamoureux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jouars's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Lamoureux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
