Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kader Desplat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joffrey Houdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabe Bottero in the 4th minute of play. Joffrey Houdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabe Bottero in the 6th minute of the match. If Gwendal Hautefeuille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Gwendal Hautefeuille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Bastien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc-Antoine Reeb during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gérardcourt getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marc-Antoine Reeb hit a great ball. Achille Caparros kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gwendal Hautefeuille fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Bastien having to interfere. Terry Demangeon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Echirolles booed when Gérardcourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Belliard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Terry Demangeon in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Kader Desplat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yves Bastien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kader Desplat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Echirolles's Terry Demangeon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joffrey Houdin was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnabe Bottero to strike the kick off in the second half. Kader Desplat struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Yves Bastien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gérardcourt. 56 minutes into the match, Echirolles's goalkeeper Yves Bastien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Jouanno. Yves Bastien made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gwendal Hautefeuille sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Echirolles booed when Gérardcourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwendal Hautefeuille didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kader Desplat in the 72nd minute of play forced Echirolles's goalkeeper Yves Bastien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gérardcourt's Joffrey Houdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabe Bottero in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Gérardcourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Antoine Reeb to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Terry Demangeon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gérardcourt's Joffrey Houdin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Echirolles's Achille Caparros got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwendal Hautefeuille got free with Yves Bastien in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Echirolles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gérardcourt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
