Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dorian Colon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Augustin Mebarki came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Mariquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Mebarki couldn't finish the play. Dorian Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Merienne having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Calvin Merienne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 8 played minutes Mariquet got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Jouanneau. Christophe Visse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gildas Hervier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis Rabin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francis Rabin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francis Rabin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Mariquet's Eugene Bagot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gildas Hervier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariquet reached it. In the 30th match minute, Mariquet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Chancel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Velotte booed when Mariquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Chancel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christophe Visse in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildas Hervier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxence Koehl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Calvin Merienne made a huge save. Velotte's Maxence Koehl got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calvin Merienne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorian Colon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Christophe Visse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildas Hervier. Velotte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christophe Visse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Mariquet getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Augustin Mebarki hit a great ball. Maxence Koehl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calvin Merienne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Dorian Colon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Gildas Hervier throw himself and got hold of the ball when Christophe Visse in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Maxence Koehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Velotte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Scouarnec to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mariquet booed when Velotte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regis Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Maurette hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Gildas Hervier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theophile Lemasson in the 91st minute. Velotte's Gildas Hervier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Visse in the 92nd minute of play. The Mariquet supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mariquet would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
