Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Theix's Toufik Sénac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gilles Stephan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Gilles Stephan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Félix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Stephan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Félix's goal looked a bit too open when Toufik Sénac came free, but Sabri Richer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Gilles Stephan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kilian Cluzel. Theix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilles Stephan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Boulain in the 17th minute of play forced Theix's goalkeeper Kilian Cluzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toufik Sénac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John-David Mathey struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sabri Richer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Theix. The supporters of Félix booed when Theix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Boulain to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, John-David Mathey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Félix's Gilles Stephan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kilian Cluzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Félix's Gilles Stephan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kilian Cluzel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Sabri Richer came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Theix's John-David Mathey. But to his dismay, John-David Mathey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Félix's Bob Bonnet got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kilian Cluzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Bonnet in the 76th minute. If John-David Mathey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. In the 96th match minute, Félix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Bravo to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Félix walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
