Charles-Henri Chaillet hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chartre's zone, Claude Mollier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samy Rochais came out of the goal and Claude Mollier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliott Bozec struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Florentin Bieber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chartre. Claude Mollier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samy Rochais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romain Fontenelle in the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eliott Bozec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentin Bieber was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Florentin Bieber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliott Bozec in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Chartre's Antony Mayen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentin Bieber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samy Rochais was a little too slow when Romain Fontenelle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romain Fontenelle was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Antony Mayen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taverny's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Eliott Bozec scored to the left of an out of position Florentin Bieber, making the score, 1-2. After 59 played minutes Chartre got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Jaegle. Claude Mollier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samy Rochais having to interfere. Claude Mollier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Samy Rochais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samy Rochais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romain Fontenelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Eliott Bozec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Eliott Bozec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliott Bozec struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Cyprien Rouch charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyprien Rouch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Taverny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprien Rouch to maneuver through the defense. Eliott Bozec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Eliott Bozec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Chartre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
