Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William Arrault started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, William Arrault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Machevaz booed when Wambrechies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djibril Lebouc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Wambrechies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Genet to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Johan Belkacem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Cossin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Arrault in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes William Arrault rounded Machevaz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 28th minute, William Arrault reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brian Cossin. The goal made the score 3-0. William Arrault blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Cossin having to make a save. Emmanuel Bouiller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Charnay having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Arrault in the 38th minute of play forced Machevaz's goalkeeper Brian Cossin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilbert Noiret came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Wambrechies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Noiret couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, William Arrault reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brian Cossin. The goal made the score 4-0. 48 minutes into the match, Wambrechies's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Bouiller came free, but Marvin Charnay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emmanuel Bouiller made the kick off in the second half. Emmanuel Bouiller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilan Chomel got free with Marvin Charnay in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Machevaz's Brian Cossin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Noiret in the 75th minute of play. Remi Plaisance charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remi Plaisance the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remi Plaisance kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Gilbert Noiret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Brian Canovas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Cossin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Bouiller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Charnay having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Machevaz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wambrechies.
