Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geoffrey Parize kicked off to start the match. Desire Claux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Winter having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Coulaines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Viot to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Vernéa's Renan Heuze tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomas Winter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joffrey Blondin went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guillaume Berte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey Parize, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Desire Claux notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vernéa's Thomas Winter. Thomas Winter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guillaume Berte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romain Borderie in the 20th minute. A collision led to Coulaines getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alexis Viot hit a great ball. Joffrey Blondin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Ortiz in the 32nd minute of play forced Vernéa's goalkeeper Thomas Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romain Borderie got free with Guillaume Berte in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herve Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, one of Vernéa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vernéa. Harry Loeuillet shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Desire Claux made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Winter was a little too slow when Desire Claux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. Desire Claux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Winter having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Herve Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vernéa's zone, Desire Claux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Winter came out of the goal and Desire Claux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desire Claux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desire Claux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Winter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Moise Lucchesi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Coulaines were awarded a corner. Harry Loeuillet went to the cornerflag to take it. Thomas Winter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desire Claux in the 94th minute of the match. Desire Claux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Thomas Winter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coulaines's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
