Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jordan Boulenger took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roland Serrurier kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maincy's goalkeeper Joel Doisy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alix Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gouy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alix Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Doisy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mike Cottereau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Dauriac in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Gouy got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Rolin. If Karl Dauriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Freddy Hautefeuille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Boulenger in the 36th minute of play forced Gouy's goalkeeper Mike Cottereau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Alix Firmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alou Victorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play, Gouy's Alix Firmin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Doisy was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alix Firmin to make the kick off. Alix Firmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joel Doisy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Doisy didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gouy's Alix Firmin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Alou Victorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Freddy Hautefeuille was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gouy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maincy the free kick. After 64 played minutes, Maincy's Jonas Fert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mike Cottereau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maincy reached it. In the 68th minute Alix Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Doisy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Boulenger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Dauriac in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Cottereau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joachim Rolin's late challenge caught a Maincy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Rolin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gouy's Joachim Rolin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jonas Fert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Morgan Degand's late challenge caught a Maincy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morgan Degand helped the player get up and apologised. 83 minutes into the game, one of Gouy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jordan Boulenger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maincy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Boulenger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Cottereau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mike Cottereau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Dauriac in the 92nd minute of the match. When Roland Serrurier fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maincy's protests and gave Roland Serrurier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gouy booed when Maincy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Serrurier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alou Victorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alix Firmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gouy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gouy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
