Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edmond Dupont made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 played minutes Vial got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Dabin. Gerard Assie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Barrau, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Rochepinard's Batiste Verne got a free kick in the 14th minute. Alix Michaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Alix Michaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alix Michaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerard Assie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Barrau in the 24th minute of play. If Edmond Dupont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vial's Harold Gouzien got a free kick in the 36th minute. Gerard Assie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Barrau in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Marcel Loridan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rochepinard's Gerard Assie. Gerard Assie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustave Barrau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alix Michaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerard Assie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alix Michaux in the 54th minute. Harry Saby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Barnier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Harry Saby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmond Dupont's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Jason Barnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Harry Saby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Assie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustave Barrau in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Gustave Barrau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Assie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Mazaud kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Harry Saby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jason Barnier's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Rochepinard's Gerard Assie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Barrau in the 91st minute of play. Gerard Assie came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Vial's Alix Michaux. But to his dismay, Alix Michaux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vial eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
