Flavian Vaissière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Kubler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Quetigny booed when Maron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc-Antoine Geronimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harold Plas, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Maron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Hautefeuille to maneuver through the defense. Flavian Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Kubler in the 28th minute of the match. If Célestin Sarazin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célestin Sarazin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Antoine Duez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quetigny. After having played for 35 minutes, Célestin Sarazin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quetigny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célestin Sarazin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Étienne Druesne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antoine Duez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célestin Sarazin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Duez having to interfere. Fabian Hautefeuille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Watelet's late challenge caught a Maron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claude Watelet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maron booed when Quetigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Watelet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavian Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Carcenac in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Kubler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Olivier Auguin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maron's Antoine Duez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Plas in the 55th minute of play. Étienne Druesne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Étienne Druesne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célestin Sarazin in the 66th minute of play forced Maron's goalkeeper Antoine Duez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jason Carcenac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Vaissière having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Kubler in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavian Vaissière saved Quetigny from getting behind. Denis Kubler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavian Vaissière read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Étienne Druesne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Jason Carcenac fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Denis Kubler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre-Olivier Giacomoni's late challenge caught a Maron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Olivier Giacomoni helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre-Olivier Giacomoni kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
