Moise Fantin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Célestin Sarazin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Marques having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Vaysse in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavian Vaissière saved Quetigny from getting behind. Marius Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Étienne Druesne in the 17th minute of play. Flavian Vaissière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Marlier, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ferdinand Vaysse struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Flavian Vaissière didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camon. Dan Marlier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Fernand Tourte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Dan Marlier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Camon booed when Quetigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Watelet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavian Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Vaysse in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Camon getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Moise Fantin hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Camon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Bouyer to maneuver through the defense. Quetigny's Célestin Sarazin got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Étienne Druesne to make the kick off. Camon's Dan Marlier got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Camon's William Dessaint got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quetigny's zone, Dan Marlier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavian Vaissière came out of the goal and Dan Marlier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernand Tourte kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fernand Tourte hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Tristan Lienard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dan Marlier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavian Vaissière read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Ferdinand Vaysse came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Camon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Vaysse couldn't finish the play. Étienne Druesne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavian Vaissière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Marlier, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ferdinand Vaysse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Flavian Vaissière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dan Marlier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavian Vaissière made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Vaysse in the 87th minute. When William Dessaint fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camon's protests and gave William Dessaint a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Camon getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. William Dessaint hit a great ball. Célestin Sarazin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dan Marlier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camon's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Marlier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavian Vaissière breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
