Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodrigue Anquetil took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Montchat getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gilbert Caillault hit a great ball. Romeo Roue was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Salomon Renaux capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salomon Renaux really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Romeo Roue made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Leo Auzanneau sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Montchat's Karl Sirven sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augustin Bonard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Karl Sirven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montchat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Sirven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigue Anquetil in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augustin Bonard saved Sablot from getting behind. Montchat's Karl Sirven got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Montchat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathanaël Thauvin to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Gerald Bianconi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Roue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Karl Sirven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Bonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Anquetil, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Montchat got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Caillault. Mourad Gouedard hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The long shot by Olivier Coudurier in the 45th minute really tested Romeo Roue's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Karl Sirven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Bonard having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salomon Renaux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salomon Renaux struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Romeo Roue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sablot. After some careless play in the Montchat defense, Salomon Renaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Roue. The Montchat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Roue should have stopped the shot. Rodrigue Anquetil struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Augustin Bonard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montchat. Salomon Renaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Roue having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Renaux in the 69th minute of play forced Montchat's goalkeeper Romeo Roue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sablot's Augustin Bonard got control of the ball when Karl Sirven tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salomon Renaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Roue having to interfere. Salomon Renaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Auzanneau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Romeo Roue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salomon Renaux succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Sablot's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
