After a defensive mix-up in Keralkun's zone, Honore Archimbaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilien Bouyer came out of the goal and Honore Archimbaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximilien Bouyer made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Honore Archimbaud sent off a good shot on target. Michael Moisy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphonse Magne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Escalier during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vernouillet getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Xavier Escalier hit a great ball. Michael Moisy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannick Henaff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honore Archimbaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maximilien Bouyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Moisy came out of the goal and Alphonse Magne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alphonse Magne struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Michael Moisy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keralkun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yannick Henaff in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Moisy saved Vernouillet from getting behind. Michael Moisy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannick Henaff in the 33rd minute of the match. Maximilien Bouyer made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ludovic Fleck sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ludovic Fleck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vernouillet's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludovic Fleck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilien Bouyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Yannick Henaff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Vernouillet defense, Alphonse Magne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Moisy. The Vernouillet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Moisy should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Vernouillet's Brian Mottin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Yannick Henaff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludovic Fleck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michael Moisy was a little too slow when Yannick Henaff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. Maximilien Bouyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludovic Fleck in the 64th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Keralkun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vernouillet:s goal. In the 72nd minute, Ludovic Fleck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilien Bouyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vernouillet's Honore Archimbaud got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannick Henaff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannick Henaff let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 88th minute shot 1-3 at rihgt post. Brian Mottin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Chris Gaume fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vernouillet's protests and gave Chris Gaume a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Chris Gaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alphonse Magne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Keralkun players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
