Allan Amirault didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Firmin Hatton went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Pompignac's goal looked a bit too open when Basile Barrot came free, but Allan Amirault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basile Barrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Allan Amirault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Firmin Hatton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Firmin Hatton in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Amirault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Pompignac booed when Bédarrides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josselin Trouillet didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Feral in the 20th minute of play forced Bédarrides's goalkeeper Alban Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luc Bailleul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alban Almeida having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Pompignac's Luc Bailleul dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Sacha Coureau's late challenge caught a Pompignac's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sacha Coureau helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pompignac booed when Bédarrides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Coureau didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Batiste Deligne from a close distance when the talented Alban Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Bédarrides's players were relieved. Basile Barrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Allan Amirault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Pompignac got a freekick which was hit by David Feral. Firmin Hatton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Amirault having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 52 minutes, Charles Delangle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pompignac and the Bédarrides players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Pompignac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Delangle to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pompignac getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luc Bailleul hit a great ball. Charles Delangle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bédarrides booed when Pompignac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herve Baly didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basile Barrot got free with Allan Amirault in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Basile Barrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Delangle hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Basile Barrot struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Allan Amirault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bédarrides. Basile Barrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Amirault having to interfere. Alban Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Deligne in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bédarrides's goalkeeper Alban Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luc Bailleul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alban Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basile Barrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bédarrides were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pompignac to leave the ground with a draw.
