Fabrice Vix charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrice Vix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mulhouse! In the 10th minute Aurelien Ferrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Thome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonin Barbaud in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thierry Thome, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thierry Thome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelien Ferrie in the 17th minute of play. Edmond Balle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Chalet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joe Chalet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Balle having to interfere. When Ethan Tamisier came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Husseau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Tamisier couldn't finish the play. Edmond Balle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Tamisier in the 44th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Joe Chalet made the kick off in the second half. Thierry Thome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Barbaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonin Barbaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thierry Thome having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Aurelien Ferrie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mulhouse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Romaric Lambin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Aurelien Ferrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Thome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Husseau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildas Chapuy to maneuver through the defense. Aurelien Ferrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Thierry Thome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thierry Thome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alix Morisset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Balle was a little too slow when Joe Chalet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 81st minute Aurelien Ferrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Thome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thierry Thome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelien Ferrie in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulhouse's goalkeeper Edmond Balle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Mulhouse's Aurelien Ferrie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thierry Thome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mulhouse getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Faustin Limouzin hit a great ball.
