Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacques Migot started the match with the kick off. Theophile Ryckewaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rodolphe Antigny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Hollard in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolphe Antigny saved Hellemmes from getting behind. Jacques Migot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theophile Ryckewaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolphe Antigny having to interfere. Rodolphe Antigny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Hollard in the 17th minute of play. Renaud Grapin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Tesniere in the 18th minute. Charlie Tesniere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Grapin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Theophile Ryckewaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perrière's supporters rose to their feet, but Theophile Ryckewaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolphe Antigny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Hellemmes got a freekick which was hit by Walter Roubaud. Theophile Ryckewaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolphe Antigny having to interfere. Jacques Migot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Grapin having to interfere. Marc-Antoine Loison's late challenge caught a Hellemmes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc-Antoine Loison helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hellemmes booed when Perrière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc-Antoine Loison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hellemmes's Jacques Migot got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hellemmes booed when Perrière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Stella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Hellemmes's Edgard Heude broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 43rd minute Hellemmes were awarded a corner. Edgard Heude went to the cornerflag to take it. Edgard Heude made a great header on Hellemmes's corner, it was just that Perrière's Renaud Grapin managed to reach the ball for a save. Charlie Tesniere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Grapin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theophile Ryckewaert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Roubaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renaud Grapin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walter Roubaud ran back to his position shaking his head. Renaud Grapin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothe Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 62 minutes into the match, Jacques Migot notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Perrière's Renaud Grapin. Renaud Grapin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Perrière's Rodolphe Antigny threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Theophile Ryckewaert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Hollard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolphe Antigny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Theophile Ryckewaert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolphe Antigny, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Bruno Hollard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolphe Antigny was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Theophile Ryckewaert took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rodolphe Antigny to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 95 minutes, Timothe Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellemmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timothe Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Perrière had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
