In the 29th minute, Dan Lorion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Vericel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Laghet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alexis Germond was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Laghet booed when Allouagne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Germond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damien Bordenave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Vericel in the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yannick Busnel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannick Busnel couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Laghet's goalkeeper Ronald Bonneton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yannick Busnel. 69 minutes into the match, Allouagne's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Saout came free, but Damien Bordenave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Laghet defense, Yannick Busnel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Bonneton. The Laghet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Bonneton should have stopped the shot. If Luc Saout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Luc Saout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damien Bordenave was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Yannick Busnel came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Allouagne fans jumped to their feet.
