The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nathan Vericel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luc Saout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwann Borg having to interfere. Ronald Bonneton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Ehrhardt in the 12th minute of the match. Bérenger Troncy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ronald Bonneton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Vericel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwann Borg having to interfere. If Ruben Chêne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Bonneton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Chêne, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Ruben Chêne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Bonneton was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Graney's zone, Luc Saout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwann Borg came out of the goal and Luc Saout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Mounier's late challenge caught a Laghet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Mounier helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Chêne made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Nathan Vericel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erwann Borg. Nathan Vericel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 58 played minutes Laghet got a freekick which was hit by Dan Lorion. After a defensive mix-up in Laghet's zone, Ruben Chêne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Bonneton came out of the goal and Ruben Chêne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erwann Borg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luc Saout in the 61st minute. If Bérenger Troncy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Ehrhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nathan Vericel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwann Borg was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Laghet booed when Graney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Piau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Graney's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nathan Vericel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luc Saout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Erwann Borg made a huge save. Laghet's Ronald Bonneton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bérenger Troncy in the 76th minute of play. Ronald Bonneton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bérenger Troncy in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ruben Chêne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graney's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Chêne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Bonneton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Ruben Chêne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Bonneton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Nathan Vericel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erwann Borg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nathan Vericel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laghet's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Vericel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwann Borg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Ehrhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Laghet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
