A hard shot by Ludovic Henocq from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Florentin Poudevigne's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Sylvain Vauchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hachimette getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hector Pujo hit a great ball. Sylvain Vauchel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentin Poudevigne having to interfere. Florentin Poudevigne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Gustave's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Vivien Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivien Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Huvet's zone, Darren Schindler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilan Marsaud came out of the goal and Darren Schindler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Hector Pujo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hachimette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huvet the free kick. After 37 played minutes Hachimette got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pujo. Anthony Cacheux shot from long distance in the 38th minute, but Florentin Poudevigne was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Omer Perraut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Huvet's Marius Coquelet got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Hachimette booed when Huvet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Gustave didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentin Poudevigne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hachimette's Florentin Poudevigne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvain Vauchel in the 77th minute of play. Florentin Poudevigne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Gustave in the 81st minute of the match. Bob Gustave kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Darren Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ilan Marsaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivien Berg took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilan Marsaud. Ilan Marsaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hachimette eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
