With a little luck, Poisat's Alex Bouquillon got control of the ball when Matheo Capdeville tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Fevrier scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymond Vandevelde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Graney's Raymond Vandevelde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fevrier in the 32nd minute of play. Andre Hannequin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Emmanuel Piet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Piet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Raymond Vandevelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Graney's goalkeeper Raymond Vandevelde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Piet in the 48th minute of play forced Graney's goalkeeper Raymond Vandevelde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herve Champy to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Poisat got a freekick which was hit by Salim Ponsot. Herve Champy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poisat's goalkeeper Alex Bouquillon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Fevrier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Bevilacqua, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bruno Fevrier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Poisat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Lietard to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Poisat's goal looked a bit too open when Herve Champy came free, but Alex Bouquillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Vandevelde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Fevrier in the 78th minute of the match. If Bruno Fevrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Piet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herve Champy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Bouquillon having to interfere. The Poisat players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
