The supporters of Edange booed when Neuvecelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronan Chapelier in the 12th minute of play forced Edange's goalkeeper Gregory Lemarechal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dilan William could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Romaric Barray made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Adrien Jean-Louis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregory Lemarechal was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Adrien Jean-Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Lemarechal having to interfere. Edange's Gregory Lemarechal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Jean-Louis in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Lory in the 28th minute of play forced Neuvecelle's goalkeeper Romaric Barray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Lemarechal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronan Chapelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrien Jean-Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ronan Chapelier came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Neuvecelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronan Chapelier couldn't finish the play. Romaric Barray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Lory in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorian Lory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Leopold Stevens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a little luck, Edange's Gregory Lemarechal got control of the ball when Ronan Chapelier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronan Chapelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregory Lemarechal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrien Jean-Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dilan William received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romaric Barray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
