The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Bouet got free with Jules Moisan in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Champanod's Ramzi Regis pulled a muscle in his leg after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 53rd match minute, Rognac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Chastagner to maneuver through the defense. Rognac's Alban Dumaine got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alban Dumaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rognac's Jules Moisan got control of the ball when Henri Bouet tried to sneak it across the goal line.
