In the 5th minute, Denis Grisard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Prevote's Jolan Chevallier didn't even have to move. Fernand Surget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivien Dick hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Ulysse Vitrac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lerch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karl Drouot fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forbach's protests and gave Karl Drouot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Forbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Drouot to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Pierre Tranchand, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albert Lerch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Surget in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ulysse Vitrac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prevote's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysse Vitrac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Lerch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Lerch came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Prevote's Fernand Surget. But to his dismay, Fernand Surget quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulysse Vitrac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Albert Lerch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Lerch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysse Vitrac in the 28th minute of the match. Karl Drouot hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fernand Surget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Daniel Villeneuve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Lerch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysse Vitrac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forbach's Albert Lerch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand Surget in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ulysse Vitrac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lerch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthieu Blondeel in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jolan Chevallier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthieu Blondeel made a kick off. Fernand Surget was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jolan Chevallier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Huiban in the 56th minute of the match. Ulysse Vitrac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lerch having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Mohamed Chareyre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Franklin Huiban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jolan Chevallier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 64th minute of the match Karl Drouot completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl Drouot a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Albert Lerch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernand Surget in the 65th minute. Franklin Huiban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jolan Chevallier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Matthieu Blondeel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Lerch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysse Vitrac in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Ulysse Vitrac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lerch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Forbach's zone, Fernand Surget stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Lerch came out of the goal and Fernand Surget tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prevote's Ulysse Vitrac got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernand Surget received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Albert Lerch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prevote were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
