Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Brice Venant took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspard Bouteloup. Gaspard Bouteloup dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Brice Venant made a precise shot to the right of Gaspard Bouteloup. Vénissieux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Peuplingues booed when Vénissieux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivier Bardy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivier Bardy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Peuplingues's Davy Migot tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peuplingues's zone, Eddy Condé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Falcoz came out of the goal and Eddy Condé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Junior Boussac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gaspard Bouteloup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Falcoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Condé, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Faudel Torre came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vénissieux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faudel Torre couldn't finish the play. Eddy Condé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Falcoz having to make a save. If Junior Boussac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davy Migot hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Tony Frémaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddy Condé to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Charlie Bory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peuplingues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vénissieux the free kick. Charlie Bory kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play Peuplingues's Charlie Bory was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Valentin Falcoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faudel Torre's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Valentin Falcoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faudel Torre in the 63rd minute of the match. Gaspard Bouteloup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Boussac in the 79th minute. Eddy Condé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Junior Boussac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peuplingues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Boussac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Junior Boussac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gaspard Bouteloup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
