Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernard Banchereau kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Chatou's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Chappaz came free, but Thomas Romanet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chatou's Jean Leray got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Hermant hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jerome Chappaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Romanet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerome Chappaz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Chappaz in the 13th minute of play forced Chatou's goalkeeper Thomas Romanet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donovan Banse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Banchereau in the 30th minute of the match. Chatou's Jean Leray got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerome Chappaz in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Romanet saved Chatou from getting behind. In the 35th minute Eliott Stern suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Jean Leray fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chatou's protests and gave Jean Leray a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Jean Leray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Joffrey Grenard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean Leray took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donovan Banse. Donovan Banse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 48 minutes, Jolan Couchot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bompas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jolan Couchot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Chatou were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jolan Couchot made a kick off. With a little luck, Bompas's Donovan Banse got control of the ball when Jean Leray tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Chatou got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Banchereau. If Jolan Couchot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chatou's Theo Blet got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thomas Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jolan Couchot in the 69th minute of play. Donovan Banse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Banchereau in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jolan Couchot in the 87th minute of play forced Chatou's goalkeeper Thomas Romanet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Blet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Banse having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bernard Banchereau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donovan Banse was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Bompas's Billy Furic got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
