Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roland Bouiller started the match with the kick off. Sofiane Mougenot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Douguet in the 3rd minute of play. Regis Wargnier kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Virac's Rudy Vacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Virac from getting a goal against them. Pascal Racine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Mougenot having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Bouland during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Bruno Douguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virac's Bruno Douguet got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghislain Hamy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Rudy Vacher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Frederic Viardot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rouvignies's zone, Omer Duffau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofiane Mougenot came out of the goal and Omer Duffau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Michael Morfin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rouvignies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virac the free kick. A collision led to Rouvignies getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Michael Morfin hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Virac's goalkeeper Rudy Vacher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ghislain Hamy. Bruno Douguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Rouvignies getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Michael Morfin hit a great ball. Rudy Vacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Bouiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascal Racine to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rouvignies getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Michael Morfin hit a great ball. Alfred Chamoux's late challenge caught a Rouvignies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Chamoux helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Douguet in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sofiane Mougenot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 68 minutes into the match, Rouvignies's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Racine came free, but Sofiane Mougenot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Racine was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Virac's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 74 minutes into the game, Carlos Boniface was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rouvignies the free kick. Carlos Boniface hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Roland Bouiller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the game, Ronald Bouland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rudy Vacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Pascal Racine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Berenger Boudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sofiane Mougenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Virac players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rouvignies.
