In the 4th minute, Valentin Mondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teddy Lavorel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute, Teddy Lavorel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Briollay's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Lugand came free, but Gilbert Jacquemard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Christopher Grosso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchiennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Grosso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teddy Lavorel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Teddy Lavorel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edouard Deruelle in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Roland Lugand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Jacquemard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teddy Lavorel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Miranda was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Christopher Grosso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Edouard Deruelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Briollay's supporters rose to their feet, but Edouard Deruelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Lugand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Jacquemard having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Teddy Lavorel made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Grosso got free with Gilbert Jacquemard in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Donovan Perrault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honore Chopin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tim Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edouard Deruelle in the 62nd minute of the match. Gilbert Jacquemard made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Christopher Grosso sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Marchiennes's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Lavorel came free, but Tim Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Marchiennes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Valentin Mondon hit a great ball. Teddy Lavorel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Miranda having to make a save. In the 76thth minute of the game Edouard Deruelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marchiennes's Tim Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Briollay's Gilbert Jacquemard got control of the ball when Christopher Grosso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jean-Francois Oriol fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Briollay's protests and gave Jean-Francois Oriol a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Briollay got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Francois Oriol. After 81 minutes of play, Briollay's Edouard Deruelle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Christopher Grosso made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Jacquemard. Briollay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Christopher Grosso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Roland Lugand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
