Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camille Le Coz got the match started through his kick off. Ernest Mezieres charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Mezieres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Brunstatt got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Mezieres. Camille Le Coz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Belleveu's Bob Houillon got a free kick in the 11th minute. Brunstatt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Camille Le Coz scored to the left of an out of position Guy Lantenois, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Martial Moritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunstatt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial Moritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Fricker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Moritz in the 28th minute of play. Paulo Fricker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Caire, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Paulo Fricker didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brunstatt's Martial Moritz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Brunstatt's Guy Lantenois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Le Coz in the 40th minute of play. Yvan Boulogne in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guy Lantenois, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Baptiste Caire was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Bob Houillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belleveu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brunstatt the free kick. A collision led to Belleveu getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bob Houillon hit a great ball. Herbert Patard hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Guy Lantenois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Le Coz in the 60th minute of the match. Paulo Fricker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Caire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Baptiste Caire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martial Moritzs short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Paulo Fricker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jean-Baptiste Caire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Brunstatt's Martial Moritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Fricker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Brunstatt played a much better game than Belleveu and deserved their victory. The Belleveu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
