Erwin Berne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jules Deshaies in the 4th minute. After 4 played minutes Cébazat got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Blanquet. Oscar Bodart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Erwin Berne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Adolphe during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cébazat getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Robin Adolphe hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Oscar Bodart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Berne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Oscar Bodart struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Erwin Berne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coignières. 17 minutes into the game, Cébazat's Jackson Maze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eymeric Ruellan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eymeric Ruellan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jackson Maze's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Oscar Bodart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georges Convert's late challenge caught a Coignières's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Convert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Coignières booed when Cébazat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Convert didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jules Deshaies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Coignières's Oscar Bodart ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erwin Berne. Erwin Berne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Jules Deshaies notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cébazat's Erwin Berne. Erwin Berne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eymeric Ruellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Girardeau in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Albert Jobert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cébazat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coignières the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Tony Girardeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eymeric Ruellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eymeric Ruellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Girardeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Coignières getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jules Deshaies hit a great ball. Jules Deshaies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Cébazat got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Blanquet. In the 68th minute, Jules Deshaies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Bodart in the 71st minute of play forced Cébazat's goalkeeper Erwin Berne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Cébazat got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Blanquet. Oscar Bodart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Tony Girardeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eymeric Ruellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Georges Convert was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Cébazat got a freekick which was hit by Georges Convert. After 83 played minutes, Coignières's Celestin Idoux shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erwin Berne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coignières reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Deshaies in the 87th minute of play forced Cébazat's goalkeeper Erwin Berne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Cébazat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Adolphe to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Bodart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Erwin Berne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cébazat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coignières.
