Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timothe Betton started the match with the kick off. The attack was good, but when Timothe Betton in the 3rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Corentin Demaret hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Portiragnes's Jordy Marconnet broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Patrick Laloux might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guy Emonet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Laloux ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 15 minutes, Patrick Laloux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaupuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Laloux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Laloux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Luc Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portiragnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beaupuy the free kick. Portiragnes's Guy Emonet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Portiragnes from getting a goal against them. Reynald Madelaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Eudes having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Beaupuy got a freekick which was hit by Corentin Demaret. Valentin Madeleine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Emonet having to interfere. Guy Emonet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Laloux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portiragnes's Guy Emonet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Portiragnes from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Patrick Laloux got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Patrick Laloux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Laloux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Timothe Betton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roger Labro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Beaupuy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alfred Boisson hit a great ball. Reynald Madelaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Eudes having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Timothe Betton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Eudes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Beaupuy getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Michael Tichit hit a great ball. Timothe Betton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Portiragnes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute, Aurelien Fromentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guy Emonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Laloux in the 81st minute of the match. When Valentin Madeleine came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Beaupuy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Madeleine couldn't finish the play. Patrick Laloux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Emonet having to interfere. Patrick Laloux scored 1-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Emonet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beaupuy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
