Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louison Ruch started the match with the kick off. Lucien Platel charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucien Platel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the match, Authie's goal looked a bit too open when Louison Ruch came free, but Denis Fievez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildas Mugnier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Lecourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Donovan Lecourt came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Authie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Lecourt couldn't finish the play. Denis Fievez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Lanza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donovan Lecourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donovan Lecourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gildas Mugnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Louison Ruch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Fievez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Authie's Donovan Lecourt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Renan Blondelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Louison Ruch rounded Authie's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 86 minutes into the game, Yvan Albertini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Béner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Authie the free kick. Renan Blondelle took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildas Mugnier. Gildas Mugnier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Valérien Wallet hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Authie's Denis Fievez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Authie from getting a goal against them.
