The goalkeeper, Steven Sassier, was totally fooled by Bohars's Simon Boe, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Steven Sassier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ewan Dehon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ewan Dehon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Sassier having to interfere. Remi Fourment received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Steven Sassier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Verson defense, Ewan Dehon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steven Sassier. The Verson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steven Sassier should have stopped the shot. Reynald Bache's late challenge caught a Bohars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynald Bache helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Verson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynald Bache to maneuver through the defense. Remi Fourment received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steven Sassier came out and tried to block the shot, but Remi Fourment slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ewan Dehon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohars's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewan Dehon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Sassier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Verson's goal looked a bit too open when Remi Fourment came free, but Steven Sassier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Arthur Bertho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bohars and the Verson players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Bohars got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Bertho. In the 47th minute of the match Jean-Marc Gaudet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andre Risse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edouard Bara to make the kick off. If Danny Desmaison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bohars's Andre Risse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Bohars from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Remi Fourment got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ewan Dehon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Edouard Bara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Risse was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 82 minutes, Nathan Bauwens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bohars and the Verson players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, one of Verson:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verson. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Bohars. Simon Boe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Steven Sassier. 4-0. Steven Sassier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remi Fourment went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Bohars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Verson for a fine match.
