Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcel Wetzel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antony Vella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felicien Sable, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antony Vella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Lestrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armand Lestrade in the 11th minute of play forced Vanves's goalkeeper Antony Vella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Vanves's Jolan Baclet made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Muller was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 played minutes Marcel Wetzel rounded Grasse's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Felicien Sable received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Antony Vella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antony Vella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felicien Sable, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Jolan Baclet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jolan Baclet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jolan Baclet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. John Muller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Gregoire Viaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Grasse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatien Herbin to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Marcel Wetzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armand Lestrade made a kick off. John Muller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Wetzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcel Wetzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jolan Baclet struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. John Muller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanves. In the 77th match minute, Grasse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Emmanuel Castet to maneuver through the defense. Felicien Sable received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Antony Vella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antony Vella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armand Lestrade went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Felicien Sable fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Vella having to interfere. With a little luck, Vanves's Antony Vella got control of the ball when Felicien Sable tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vanves had won after a very even match.
