Grasse's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Philibert Beauvois scored to the left of an out of position John Muller, making the score, 2-0. Philibert Beauvois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Muller having to interfere. John Muller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philibert Beauvois in the 34th minute. Faustin Talon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Thibaut Jouglet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourdinière's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibaut Jouglet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Muller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute Faustin Talon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Muller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philibert Beauvois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Muller having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Faustin Talon managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donovan Romanet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bourdinière's Donovan Romanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Lestrade in the 58th minute of play. Bourdinière's Faustin Talon got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philibert Beauvois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Muller having to interfere. Regis Montagnon got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bourdinière booed when Grasse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regis Montagnon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Bourdinière's Philibert Beauvois nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Muller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. John Muller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philibert Beauvois went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
