Prosper Abel started the match with the kick off. When Jason Gras fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chullien's protests and gave Jason Gras a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the game, one of Chullien:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Salle. Robin Maximin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimitri Achour. 0-1. Maximilien Poussard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chullien's zone, Didier Jeanne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitri Achour came out of the goal and Didier Jeanne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Didier Jeanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitri Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Jeanne in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Jean-Paul Barillot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Paul Barillot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Salle's Germain Palvadeau got control of the ball when Maximilien Poussard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germain Palvadeau was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Prosper Abel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prosper Abel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Didier Jeanne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Salle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emeric Sahli to maneuver through the defense. Maximilien Poussard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Palvadeau having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Salle's Didier Jeanne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitri Achour narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chullien's Maximilien Poussard got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilfried Bare fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salle's protests and gave Wilfried Bare a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Salle's Wilfried Bare got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Chullien's goal looked a bit too open when Emeric Sahli came free, but Dimitri Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Salle's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilien Poussard came free, but Germain Palvadeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jean-Paul Barillot came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Salle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Paul Barillot couldn't finish the play. Jason Gras hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Maximilien Poussard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Chullien's Maximilien Poussard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germain Palvadeau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jean-Paul Barillot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didier Jeanne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Dimitri Achour when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Prosper Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germain Palvadeau was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
