Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franck Domenge started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mamadou Piquard in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Cabrol saved Ripelle from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Ripelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Pierre Fourment to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cabrol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faudel Marteau in the 12th minute of the match. Cheikh Agasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Cabrol having to interfere. Faudel Marteau struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Alex Cabrol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guipavas. Faudel Marteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Cabrol having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Faudel Marteau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Pascal Franck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jérôme Rohmer. Guipavas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Franck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jean-Philippe Boulet hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guipavas's zone, Franck Domenge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jérôme Rohmer came out of the goal and Franck Domenge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cheikh Agasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Cabrol having to interfere. Alex Cabrol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cheikh Agasse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. If Cheikh Agasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Ripelle's goal looked a bit too open when Cheikh Agasse came free, but Alex Cabrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Cabrol was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Cheikh Agasse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cheikh Agasse really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Guipavas's Jérôme Rohmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Merrien in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Ripelle got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Christophe Pernin. Cheikh Agasse took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Cabrol. Alex Cabrol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Faudel Marteau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alex Cabrol made a huge save. In the 84th match minute, Ripelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigue Merrien to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franck Domenge in the 86th minute of play forced Guipavas's goalkeeper Jérôme Rohmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faudel Marteau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Cabrol having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, Ripelle's goal looked a bit too open when Cheikh Agasse came free, but Alex Cabrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Guipavas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jean-Philippe Boulet hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ripelle's Jean-Christophe Pernin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Guipavas played a much better game than Ripelle and deserved their victory. The Ripelle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
