Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Remi Laffitte got the match started through his kick off. Remi Laffitte took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanguy Queval. Tanguy Queval dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Remi Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanguy Queval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Augustin Cayol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franklin Landelle. Augustin Cayol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 26th match minute, Denain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Porquet to maneuver through the defense. If Gilles Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilles Hanin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franklin Landelle firmly grabbed it by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Eschentzwiller's Danny Barou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanguy Queval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Eschentzwiller defense, Augustin Cayol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Landelle. The Eschentzwiller fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Landelle should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Augustin Cayol made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gilles Hanin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Danny Barou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Barou got free with Tanguy Queval in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Danny Barou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eschentzwiller fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 67 played minutes, Eschentzwiller's Eddy Russier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tanguy Queval came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eschentzwiller reached it. If Remi Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Leleu's late challenge caught a Eschentzwiller's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dylan Leleu helped the player get up and apologised. 73 minutes into the match, Denain's Gilles Hanin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Landelle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute Augustin Cayol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Landelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilles Hanin struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Franklin Landelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denain. Dimitri Vaucher's late challenge caught a Denain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitri Vaucher helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Eschentzwiller got a freekick which was hit by Eliott Lorthioir. After recieving a nice pass, Denain's Geoffroy Coin tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gilles Hanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Landelle having to interfere. Franklin Landelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Cayol in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Gilles Hanin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Landelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Eschentzwiller was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliott Lorthioir to maneuver through the defense. Eschentzwiller's Franklin Landelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Cayol in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denain's goalkeeper Tanguy Queval, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
