Dan Henaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Yann Farcy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yann Farcy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Henaff in the 25th minute of play. Tommy Riff hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tommy Riff's late challenge caught a Peurye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luka Le Port, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dan Henaff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peurye's goalkeeper Ronald Cuvillier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Arthur Jauneau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peurye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Peurye were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Henaff made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Serge Hirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascq's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serge Hirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serge Hirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Cuvillier having to interfere. Yann Farcy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Jauneau in the 57th minute. Ascq's Yann Farcy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ascq from getting a goal against them. When Serge Hirel came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ascq fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serge Hirel couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Peurye's zone, Donatien Herbet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Cuvillier came out of the goal and Donatien Herbet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Eliott Chataigner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yann Farcy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Henaff in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ascq's goalkeeper Yann Farcy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dan Henaff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Herbet in the 97th minute of play forced Peurye's goalkeeper Ronald Cuvillier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donatien Herbet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peurye's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
